Located in the British West Indies, in the southwestern Anguilla, the hidden Cap Juluca Hotel & Resort is the perfect place for a holiday experience, where the first steps out of your home lead you into the sea. It’s easily accessible by water or air, the nearby St. Maarten being of huge help.

If you feel the need of a typical Caribbean holiday, this resort is the right place to go. There are nearby villages and cities if you’re in the mood to do some shopping or have a city-night dinner. This romantic resort is situated 45 minutes by boat or 15 minutes by air to St. Barts, and St. Maarten is even closer.

This combined Dutch and French city is only 25 minutes away from Cap Juluca, comprising a decent list of gambling destinations, restaurants and shops. The resort comprises 18 Moorish-styled villas that contain 95 suites and bedrooms, offering the guests a close-to-sea location and a mile-long beach with pure-white sands.

The dining system is world renowned, being awarded with prizes for the quality of services, a brand new wine bar and fine drinks. The resort’s wine services and selections were recently awarded with the Wine Spectator’s 2010 Award of Excellence. The restaurant’s name is pretty weird – Pimms – but it’s surely a great combination of European and Caribbean ideas and tastes, being called “Eurobbean” by the locals.

There’s a long list of activities one can attend here, the resort manages the Temenos Golf Course, an Anguillan first 18-hole field that cost the renowned golfer Greg Norman around $50 million. There are also sports activities available and fitness. In a perpetual process to offer its guests the most luxurious and pampering atmosphere, the resort is a wild destination for every lounge-lover out there.
