Although Aston Martin is one of the most exquisite manufacturers of cars in the world, they have also undertaken incursions in other industries, such as the mobile phone field. The hero of our story, dubbed as the Aston Martin Aspire smartphone, was recently unveiled in Hong Kong.
The technical figures behind this phone are quite nice as well – it boasts with an 800 MHz single-core microprocessor, 3.2-inch HVGA display, 512 MB of ROM, 256 of RAM, MicroSD card support, VGA front facing-camera, 5 MP rear camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G.
It uses the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system, one of the most advanced of today. In addition, the Aston Martin Aspire is purchasable with a leather pouch, two 1,500 mAh batteries and a state of the art set of Aston Martin headphones.
Available in white, silver or black, the smartphone costs $1,290. There are also 24 carat gold and rose gold editions, a bit more expensive, priced at $1,590.
