We’ve stumbled upon Harry Winston’s name a lot of times so far, but never related to jewelry boxes. Yes, we’ve seen jewelry signed by him, and yes, we’ve seen loads and loads of watches created under the brand’s supervision, but this piece is something totally new. They’ve showcased this stunning, unique jewelry box, crafted out of a single piece of quartz, on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2013 exhibition in Milan.

It was specially manufactured for the Wallpaper Magazine Handmade Issue by harry Winston’s team of artists alongside acclaimed industrial artist Stephen Burks. According to the Editor of Wallpaper Magazine, this car was in fact intended to be an object of art mainly, with the functional role on the secondary plan. It will, though, be able to hold all sorts of jewelry, from watches to rings and necklaces, in complete safety. Boasting with superb craftsmanship and high quality, this fine slab of quartz is both beautiful and elegant.

Designed according to space-age standards, it has also been blessed with an intelligent design. It comes with a special transparent crystal tray which fits in mini-stands, which have in turn been manufactured according to the shapes and sized of the very-precious future contents.
