Fiat launched the Abarth brand as its dedicated performance division 9 years ago, alt1hough it was there for years. The Scorpion label has a long history of tuning Italian vehicles, both for the track and Sunday drives, and now it has introduced a dedicated heritage division to manage its considerable history.
The new Officine Abarth Classiche program will handle the restoration of vintage Abarth vehicles and the certification of their mechanical authenticity.
As such, private owners of classic Abarth vehicles will be able to restore, service and maintain their beloved possessions at the skilled hands of factory technicians. Work and efforts will take place in a dedicated, thousand-square-foot workshop at the Mirafiori Abarth factory in Turin.
However, the program will also allow Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Autobianchi and Cisitalia owners to benefit from the much needed attention. Beyond restoration, Officine Abarth Classiche will also allow owners to enjoy special events, which always sounds nice. Nothing, but good news.
