Upgrading an already high-performance vehicle and coming out with a satisfying result is not an easy job, though the Italian tuning company Novitec Rosso just did something like this – they bettered the old version of the Ferrari SA APERTA (cabriolet version of the 599) with a brand new tuning package.
The main upgrade done to the car is under the hood, where Novitec have added a twin-supercharger that raises the power of the V12 engine from the original 670 HP to a staggering 888 HP at 8,400 RPM and a maximum torque of 862 Nm at 6,600 RPM. That’s a 242 Nm higher torque and 218 Hp more.
This version of Ferrari is way faster than its original model, the acceleration from 0-100 km/h got as low as 3.1 sec, and the top speed is higher than 340 km/h. This partially owes to the distribution of power, thanks to an F1 Superfast six-speed transmission, that also gets the car from 0-200 km/h in 9.1 sec and from 0-300 km/h in 21.9 sec.
In addition to the performance upgrades, the car also received new 21 and 22 inch-extremely light forged wheels, a stainless steel sport exhaust with butterfly valve and sport springs.
