Les Essences de Parfum

Jean Paul Gaultier has decided it was about time to reinvent his brand’s most popular fragrances, specifically Le Male and Classique. That’s why the famous French label has teamed up with Puig, in an effort to turn these fragrances into “Belle Parfumerie” creations that boast with sophistication and strong scents.

Les Essences de Parfum include new compositions of these beautiful fragrances in Eau de Parfum concentration, complemented by stylish new bottles that show off the same, elegant shapes of the male and female torso. Let’s take them one by one.

First, the new Classique Essence de Parfum will begin to tease your senses with a fresh spicy note of ginger, while its heart will impress you with Sambac jasmine and orange blossom. The faceted glass bottle that houses this scent, created by Daphne Bugey, features reduced breasts and more pronounced hips, when you compare it to the original fragrance.

Next, the new Le Male Essence de Parfum starts off by charming us with a delicate note of cardamom, complemented by citruses, lavender and leather, only to make us feel overwhelmed and dominated by a sense of defeat. Compared with the original scent, the faceted bottle of this perfume shows broader shoulders and more narrow hips, with this fragrance being signed by perfumer Quentin Bisch.

Both of these exquisite fragrances will reach shelves by September 2016, with the Classique Essence de Parfum available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum accompanied by a 78.50 and 110.50 Euros price-tag, respectively, while Le Male Essence de Parfum, will come in a 75 and 125 ml Eau de Parfum version, and will cost 68.50 and 96 Euros, respectively.
