The INU electric scooter is a very cool new gadget that has all the makings to be the means of transportation of the future, at least in urban areas.
First of all, it’s electric, meaning it’s clean, safe, and easy to recharge. Also, it can reach a top speed of about 15 mph. Secondly, you can take it with you anywhere you go and not worry about storage, due to the fact that it is easily foldable. How easily? Well, this is where things get really good! We’ve seen foldable bikes before, but none quite like the INU, which does all the work by itself in just 5 seconds through the simple push of a button on its smartphone app. It really doesn’t get any easier than that, now does it?
Finally, this awesome bike has the looks to match its futuristic features, which in addition to its propulsion system and folding mechanism, also include a cutting-edge display on the center of the handlebar, as well as various technologies allowing the rider send texts, record video, and even take a selfie while on the move.
Showcased at CES 2015 in Las Vegas at the beginning of January, the INU electric scooter comes with a price tag starting at €2,999 (about $3,540). Deliveries are expected to commence in May or June of this year.
