If you thought Ibiza couldn’t get any better, wait till you see the new Hard Rock Hotel set to open there this summer – the first Hard Rock Hotel to open in Europe, and also the largest hotel in the famous Spanish resort. One of the highlights of the new 5-star venue will be the Sublimotion restaurant.
Upon opening on the 18th of May, Sublimotion will instantly become the world’s most expensive restaurant. Two-star Michelin chef Paco Roncero will prepare a 20-course “gastro-sensory” extravaganza for an exclusive crowd of just 12 people at a time. This unique experience, which includes moving pictures projected onto the table and levitating dinner plates, will come at quite a cost – each of these dozen guests will have to pay a hefty €1,500, which is over $2,000, for a seat at the table.
Paco Roncer also takes a different approach with the additional launch of the 3000-seater Estado Puro, but while this restaurant may not be as private, you can be certain the cuisine and service will still be stellar. In any case, the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza makes the White Island an even more attractive destination for luxurious-minded travelers.
