Four years ago, a new watchmaker from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, decided to impress us all by doing something that has never been done before, producing innovative watches with liquid in them! The HYT H1 was actually the brand’s first model, a breathtaking timepiece which showed off a marvelous blend of watchmaking and fluid mechanics, showing off the time in an awe-inspiring way.
The H1 was just the first of many extraordinary timepieces released by HYT in these past couple of years, but to us, it still remains the best of all. That’s probably exactly why the Swiss watchmaking company has decided to introduce two new versions of this exquisite timepiece, called the H1 Ghost and the H1 Full Gold.
Let’s talk about ghosts first. HYT has developed a new type of fluid for this watch, an opaque liquid which does not emit or reflect any light, making it invisible at night – hence the name of this timepiece. In order for users to be able to read the H1 Ghost, HYT included Super-LumiNova to illuminate the capillary from underneath.
Aside from the Ghost, the brilliant designers from HYT have also worked on a limited edition H1 “Full Gold”, a shiny timekeeping marvel, which also uses the new opaque fluid, while a gold case makes for a completely different aesthetic effect.
