We’re actually pretty close to see this jaw dropping supercar live. The French automaker Bugatti announced that its new supercar, the menacing Bugatti Chiron, will be officially unveiled at the 86th Geneva Motor Show, which takes place in the first days of March next year.
The Gran Turismo concept you see here, showed off earlier this year, was meant to give us a glimpse of what’s to come and if the official version of the Chiron is anywhere close to this beast, it’s going to be incredibly awesome, to say the least.
The Chiron will allow Bugatti to keep the title of the world’s most powerful, fastest and most luxurious sports car out there and according to the first reports, the exclusive vehicle will benefit from 1,500 hp and a top speed of more than 250 mph.
Sure, you have to agree that the price-tag has to match such performance and $2.5 million is exactly how much you will have to pay for this beast. Bugatti has been showing prototypes of the Chiron to potential owners in the past months and apparently they’ve already received 100 orders.
Being that this will be a limited series, future buyers will have to show up with the cash as soon as possible. A short trip down history lane: Louis Chiron has always been closely associated with Bugatti. The legendary driver won the 1931 and 1932 European championships while driving a Bugatti.
