Previous to the Los Angeles motor show that will take part during this month, Ford has revealed one of their latest projects, the 2013 model Ford Flex, a full-size cross-over with seven seats that has a less straight look than its predecessor, with more round shapes and with no blue “Ford” badge in the middle of its radiator grill.

The producers wanted to emphasize the “Flex” name by spelling it along the front end of the hood and added a few useful amenities inside the car, like 40ms inflatable rear seat-belts – more safety for the passengers travelling in the rear of the vehicle – and a new MyFord Touch System, upgraded to its latest version.

Using a six-speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission with a sequential gearbox and paddle-shifters on the wheel, there are two available motorizations so far: a top-range 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that develops 355HP and 474 Nm of torque and a more silent 3.5-liter Ti-VCT powerplant that produces 285HP and a maximum torque of 345 Nm.
