This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, something the American car manufacturer is celebrating with the release of a Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition.
Based on the full-option 2015 MY Mustang GT, customers will only have to choose the car’s color (Wimbledon White or Kona Blue) and the type of transmission (six-speed manual or six-speed automatic).
All vehicles in this range are powered by a V8 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine which churns out more than 420 bhp and 390 lb-ft of torque. This limited edition Mustang also features 19-inch alloy wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero high-performance summer tires and a Brembo breaking system.
With regards to the interior, the car comes with a leather-covered, cashmere-stitched steering wheel and seats that have been wrapped around in a unique two-tone cashmere and black leather upholstery. Also, the Mustang 50 Year logo is featured on the seatbacks.
The Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition is set to have its debut during the New York Auto Show. Only 1,964 units will be built, with sales scheduled to start this fall.
