BMW has just introduced its new M235i Track Edition in the Netherlands, a more dynamic version of the M235i coupe created specifically for the Dutch market.
The Track Edition has been touted as an “exclusive” and “sporty” version of the M235i Coupe, featuring an M Performance body kit that includes a front splitter, revised side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The new model also features a black grille, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and a stainless steel sports exhaust system, in addition to 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
Not much has been changed in the interior. Among the few modifications are aluminum pedals, a carbon fiber/Alcantara handbrake lever, and an Alcantara-wrapped sport steering wheel with a race display.
The vehicle is powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine which outputs 326 PS (240 kW) and 450 Nm (322 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds, on its way to an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
BMW’s M235i Track Edition will be released as a limited edition of 12 units, each one priced at €83,000 (around $112,000).
