German tuner DMC revealed pricing details for its LP988 Edizione GT package for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.
The vehicle got a twin-turbo conversion and a new ECU, which increases the output of the standard 6.5-liter V12 (700 PS or 690 hp), though the exact figure for the power upgrade remains undisclosed. However the kit’s name, LP988, suggests a value of 988 PS (or 975 hp).
Other additions are those of a set of forged alloy wheels and tires, new suspension parts, and a series of interior elements including leather surfaces, carbon fiber trims, and a redesigned steering wheel. The new carbon fiber body kit also comes with newly styled front and rear bumpers, an engine-bonnet replacement, side skirts, and an adjustable rear wing.
The full package costs a hefty $288,888, which doesn’t include the price of the car itself, which is $397,500 – bringing the total cost to a staggering $686,388. As if that wasn’t enough, those who also want the aero kit will have to dig deep into their pockets for an additional $89,990, which doesn’t include assembly, with DMC offering to ship it to the customer.
