Dedicated to President Vladimir Putin – The Caviar iPhone 5S Supremo

While at the Millionaire Fair in Moscow a few years ago, Italian jeweler Elia Giacometti (founder of the Perla Penna jewelry company) attracted lots of attention with his gold-plated iPhone. That’s when the idea of creating a whole line of gold-plated devices was born. Giacometti also wanted to pay homage to the country where he got the idea from (not to mention his first customers), so he called the collection Caviar. As the ultimate tribute to Mother Russia, the newest Caviar iPhone comes with an engraving of the face of her favorite son: President Vladimir Putin.

While he is undoubtedly of the most prominent figures on the world scene these days, he is probably not quite the most popular guy in certain places. Nevertheless, his approval ratings are higher than ever in Russia itself, and now patriots with deep pockets have the opportunity to show their respect for the leader by spending the equivalent of $4,300 on a gold-plated iPhone 5S Supremo, which apart from the resolute face of the President himself, also displays the first lines of the Russian National Anthem and the country’s coat of arms, the double-headed eagle.

Even without the imagery, we’re talking about quite an impressive piece – it’s an excellent smartphone device, covered in gold, enhanced with the use of great artisanship. With the added incentive of knowing you and your calls are always being watched over by the figure Vladimir Putin, the purchase of the Caviar iPhone 5S Supremo should be a no-brainer.
