Jaguar has recently came up with a new British gem, in the form of the F-Type British Design Edition. The vehicle was based on the F-Type S Coupe and Convertible, and features British Design Edition badges, 20-inch Cyclone-style alloys, with an attractive Satin Grey finish, plus many other exclusive goodies.
The vehicle also benefits from a revised color palette, including Caldera Red, Glacier White, Ultra Blue, and Ultimate Black and also worth mentioning is the Super Performance Brake system, with red calipers, as well as the standard Sport Design package.
This styling package includes a gloss black front splitter, extended side skirts, and a rear bumper venturi that also helps reduce drag.
On the inside, the Jet leather carries over, although designers have added contrasting stitching, carbon fiber trim, and 14-way adjustable sport seats with embossed BDE headrests. Drivers will probably appreciate the stainless steel tread plates, the special badging on the center console and the 10- or 12-speaker Meridian audio system.
Hiding under the bonnet is a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, good for about 380 hp and 339 pound-feet of torque that’s mated to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed Quickshift transmission. And with the optional all-wheel drive system, this Jaguar promises some exciting experiences.
The Jaguar F-Type British Design Edition will go on sale this spring, with the price-tag to be announced in the next weeks.
