Candice Swanepoel is the New Face of Swarovski

We’re now going to step away from the world of luxury, literally, and focus on the persona behind this concept. One of the few  Victoria’s Secret angel, Candice Swanepoel, a gorgeous representative of the beautiful sex coming right from South Africa, has recently been chosen as the new face of Swarovski’s spring/summer 2013 campaign.

The girl can be seen as a star in a collection of photos, as an action woman, while wearing a plethora of fun accessories entirely embellished with Swarovski crystals. Her role is to demonstrate the usefulness of the respective crystals in the design industry by posing with some dumbbells, crystallized ski goggles and a superb jewel-encrusted motorbike helmet.

What can we say, this girl looks majestically good, with or without the jewels, but they add some interesting note of bling to the picture and to her delicate character. Her most compelling body features, the sculpted cheekbones, winged eyeliner, matte nude pout and dewy complexion.

Furthermore, her nails seem to be garnished with Swarovski crystals, to match the other accessories and to act as a connection to the event. The lucky bloke who got to picture Candice was the acclaimed Nick Knight OBE, the founder of SHOWstudio.

As a ending to this story, we present you with a pretty relevant statement from Nadja Swarovski: “We wanted the campaign to capture the essence of the cool contemporary woman. Beautiful, healthy and strong, she is in charge, and can compete in any way. She is also fun and humorous. Nick catches her spirit perfectly. But, more importantly, this is an overarching corporate campaign celebrating the modern woman and Swarovski crystal as a design ingredient supporting creative expression.”
