The French manufacturer of high performance luxury cars has presented a superb, one off Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse at the Sao Paolo Motor Show. Dubbed as the Rafale, it boasts with a brand new set of one of a kind alloy wheels, as well as a skillfully redesigned two tone exterior appearance, with blue carbon fiber and “Gris Rafale” paint. Inside, the car was added lake blue leather seats, blue carbon fiber trim and light grey stitching, to go with the exterior.
Under the bonnet it has the same stock whopper of an engine – a 7.9-liter W16 motor which delivers a jaw dropping 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque, tied to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Therefore, the Bugatti reaches a staggering maximum speed of 410 km/h (255 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale comes at a high price though, in fact €210,000 (£171,150 or $274,175) higher than the stock version – a mind-boggling €1.9 million (£1.5 million or $2.5 million). Sorry for using so many superlatives, but this is the only way to properly describe a Bugatti Veyron.
