It isn’t the first time Brikk has taken something made by Apple and turned it into an even more luxurious piece. We’ve seen this before with the gold, platinum, and diamond-encrusted iPhone 6 released a while back. Now it’s time for the L.A.-based luxury brand to present its take on the Cupertino company’s latest high-end gadget, the Apple Watch.
Three versions are available for pre-order: Standard, Deluxe, and Omni. The entry-level Standard edition comes with a single row of diamonds amounting to 0.5 carats and a leather strap, the mid-range Deluxe features multiple rows with 2.3 carats worth of diamonds, while the range-topping Omni boasts a fully diamond-emblazoned case with over 12 carats of the precious stone. All three pieces are available in 24-carat yellow gold, 18-carat pink gold, and 950 platinum, and in one of two sizes: 38mm and 42 mm.
The prices reflect the difference in the level of opulence between the three smartwatches: while the Standard version costs “just” $7,495, the Deluxe will set you back a cool $13,000. Finally, you’ll have to dig deep into your pockets for the Omni watch, which is priced at $74,995. Pre-orders require a non-refundable deposit for each unit, which is set at $2,000, $3,000, and $10,000 respectively. Also worth noting is the fact that the Lux Watches all come with an aluminum Zero Halliburton case, as well as a one-year warranty, and only 30 units will be manufactured in total.
While the Apple Smartwatch is expected to be released next month, Brikk has announced its upgraded models will ship 4 to 6 weeks after that date.
