The latest creation from Backes & Strauss is the superbly designed and manufactured limited edition Victoria Blue Heart, clad in white gold and adorned with blue sapphires and white diamonds.
This model comes to assist the Blue Heart Campaign of the United Nations against Human Trafficking, a mission that we support as well. Inspired by Backes & Strauss’ jewelry designs manufactured back in the 19th century, the Victoria Collection is in fact a modern and very interesting recreation of the Victoria Era, carefully put together by highly skilled and trained craftsmen and designers.
The magnificent yet delicate timepiece features an 18 mm mother-of-pearl dial, with 4 white diamond indexes weighing 0.02 carats, set within a 35 mm 18 carat white gold case with interlocking hearts, 25 blue sapphires totaling 0.275 carats and 191 diamonds totaling 1.68 carats. The blue hands, shaped like swords, have been crafted from steel.
The movement is a simple, quartz mechanism which displays the minutes and hours. Apart from the fine white satin strap, Backes & Strauss’ Victoria Blue Heart Give Them a Voice also includes a blingy 18 carat white gold heart buckle, adorned with 24 white diamonds totaling 0.21 carats encrusted by hand. The timepiece also comes with water resistance of 30 meters.
