Beats by Dr. Dre Unveils Hello Kitty Special Edition Headphones

Hello Kitty is celebrating her 40th birthday and to mark the occasion Beats by Dr. Dre has teamed up with Sanrio, the beloved character’s creators, to release a Hello Kitty-themed collection.

The acclaimed audio products manufacturer is set to release new versions of its Solo2 headphones alongside new urBeats earbuds in the near future, both featuring images of the iconic feline.

The urBeats comes with a price tag of $199.95 and comes with a Hello Kitty-shaped carrying case. The Solo2 headphones, on the other hand, are available in the highly recognizable red, white, and blue design and are priced at $250. Both special edition pieces (cost $50 more than their standard counterparts) will be available worldwide starting mid-November, but hardcore fan have the opportunity to already get a glimpse of the headphones as they are showcased during Hello Kitty Con 2014, which takes place din weekend in Los Angeles.
