Arnold & Son is one of the oldest and most impressive of all watchmakers in the world, being an important part of the British watch manufacture since 1764. Their latest brainchild is the stunning Hornet World Time Skeleton watch. The timepiece sports 6 rhodium faceted hands, each of them driven by wheels with special split teeth, making possible a play-free movement.
The outer ring boasts 24 different time zones, while the dial also encompasses a double-disc big date. The functions of the 6 hands include time zone indications, month, equation of time and the mean solar time.
The movement, respecting the watch’s origin, comes as a rhodium-treated Swiss automatic Arnold & Son in-house caliber A1766. It also encompasses 41 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch comes as a limited edition of only 50 units. Furthermore, considering its level of complexity and the masculine design, just a piece could simply be worth a fortune.
