A rather small item has made it to our front page, in the shape of a lighter. The brand new Sushi lighter for Alessi is quite a catchy thing though and pretty useful if you need to light up things, like your cooker or a cigarette.
This, in fact, is not designed for smokers, it’s more inclined towards household use. Besides lighting the cooker, one may also use it to light candles and to start grills. The design of the Sushi Lighter draws cues from the looks of the home appliances back in the 1950s, just like that colorful thing your grandma used to have in the kitchen, which you’d like to have today.
The Sushi Lighter was designed with a curvy shape, facile and very functional, the only action needed to be done by the user being to switch it on and off. I got no idea about the availability or the price of such a thing, but I’ll gladly want one in my kitchen.
