Goldfinch, a company based in Cambridge, UK, renowned for handcrafting fine pianos, has just unveiled their latest masterpiece: a breathtaking Steinway piano encrusted with over half a million Swarovski crystals, designed for an influential Sheikh in Qatar who wanted to be the proud owner of the world’s most luxurious piano.

This dazzling crystal piano has been designed in collaboration with British artist Lauren Baker and took six painstaking months to be built, with every crystal carefully applied by hand! Blending timeless tradition with contemporary British art and luxury, this piano also has cutting edge technology for ultimate musicality.

The custom built piano features the Steinway and Sons logo together with Goldfinch’s signature right above its keys and it comes with self play ‘invisible controls’ which almost makes it play itself. It’s going to be shipped from the company’s workshops from Cambridge, right in the sheik’s stupendous home in Doha.

The price for this glittering marvel? The crystal piano costs £420,000 or around $627,000 at today’s exchange rates. That’s quite a lot, even for extravagant sheiks. But I’m sure this marvelous piano will be in the center of attention even in the most lavish home.
