Piaget Altiplano 900P

That’s right, the Piaget Altiplano 900P watch is the thinnest hand-wound mechanical watch ever created. Designed specifically for Only Watch 2015, this incredible timepiece features an ultra thin case made from 18k white gold, which was merged with the caliber to form a whole black-coated movement.

Looking as chic as any other Piaget timepiece, the 900P comes with a sapphire crystal up front, while its caseback is engraved with the inscription “Only Watch 2015 unique piece” for obvious reasons. The watch features the amazing in-house Piaget manual wound caliber which has 20 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.

The satin-brushed case-back is a nice finishing touch, as are the black-colored sunburst satin-brushed bridges, the bevelled bridges, plus the sunburst or circular satin-brushed wheels. Also worth mentioning are the black-coated screws, dedicated index-assembly with the Piaget “P” signature and the dark strap which contrasts beautifully with the 18k white gold dial.

We don’t know how much this timepiece will cost.. but does it really matter? The Piaget Altiplano 900P is more than just a simple timepiece : it’s simply a great achievement in watchmaking.
