Maserati Lounge Chair

There are a number fields that Maserati has ventured into along the brand’s history, one of them being the furniture realm. They will reportedly showcase, at the Furniture Fair 2013, the limited edition Maserati Lounge Chair by Zanotta.

The exquisite chair bears the marks of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, whose purposes were to recreate the exclusivity, sophistication, luxury and comfort of the Maserati Quattroporte 4-wheeler through this limited edition seat. It used to be on display until the 14th of April in Milan.

The Maserati Zanotta Lounge Chair bears an exquisiteness factor above everything we’ve seen so far, being strongly tied to the original automotive brand which it was targeted towards. It boasts a chrome-nickel plated stainless steel base, also available in polished black, supporting the extremely sturdy polyurethane filling and the DacronDu Pont padding. This interestingly quilted texture is based on Extra99 Zanotta leather available in a standard dark gray tone with light borders or, optionally, in light grey leather with mud-colored borders or in dark gray with light-toned borders.

The chair was manufactured through a technique so-called Capitonne, with origins dating back to the beginning of the 18th century. Suffice to say, it expresses the character of any Maserati on standards defined by Zanotta.
