The Weineck Cobra Limited Edition is an amazing supercar built the German car manufacturer Weineck Engineering. Only 15 of these 1100 horsepower machines will be ever built, which makes it as exclusive as it is amazing.
The 780 cubic inch V8 engine is custom made by Donovan Engineering, with Weineck Engineering providing the pistons, crankshafts, connecting rods and heads. The hoodscoop provides some extra ventilation, and you can understand why that was needed when the Cobra pushes over 4,500 RPM. Its rocket-like acceleration is truly out of this world, with the Cobra going from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 2.5 seconds. And if that’s not impressive enough, it goes from naught to 186 mph in an incredible 10 seconds.
One of these 15 marvels of modern engineering would set you back around $746,000. Yet despite this (and the fact that there’s little use one could see for this car in regular traffic), all 15 Cobras have been sold out. Still, there will be one available at the Paris Auction held by RM Auctions in February.
