To honor its 160th anniversary, acclaimed piano manufacturer Steinway has partnered with renowned furniture designer Dakota Jackson in order to create the remarkable Arabesque – a limited edition piano with a unique and innovative design approach.

Only 50 of these pianos have ever been made, each one a masterpiece in its own right. The name Arabesque is borrowed from ballet, where it is a pose seemingly suspended in time, with the limbs of the dancer extended, conveying a sense of energy flowing freely through them and into the air. In a similar way, this piano’s captivating beauty stems from the exquisite design accents, which give the impression of fluidity and movement, energy and grace.

The cooperation between Steinway and Dakota Jackson already has some history, as they have already paired up to create a successful Tricentennial Limited Edition for the 300th anniversary of this wonderful instrument.
