The stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom Serenity is a one-off model that juts might be the British automaker’s most sumptuous release. Created by the company’s bespoke division, the Serenity is based on the Phantom Series II and is inspired by the luxurious Rolls Royce models from the early 20th century, with some oriental elements.
The only change for the outside is the special paint job, done in a color called Bespoke Mother of Pearl. According to Rolls-Royce, this is the most expensive one-off paint ever developed by the brand, the polishing alone taking 12 hours by hand.
Most of the changes are apparent in the interior, however. The two-tone coachline features a blossom motif delicately applied by using a brush made from squirrel hair, while exquisite woven silk from Suzhou, China was inserted throughout the cabin. Crimson blossoms have been hand-painted directly onto the silk in some places, a delicate process requiring an incredible 600 hours for each panel. Apart from the silk, other high-end materials used are smoked cherrywood, mother of pearl, bamboo, and arctic white leather.
Like lots of other amazing vehicles, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Serenity recently made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
