One of the world’s most famous couples, the charming actor George Clooney and his lovely wife, human-rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have decided to purchase a lavish property nestled right in the heart of New York City. The celebrity duo has recently purchased an apartment in One Hundred East Fifty Third Street, in a stunning residential glass tower that’s set to be completed in 2017.

According to some rumors, the Clooneys have bought a residence close to the top of the building, with more details regarding costs, features and luxurious amenities, set to be revealed at a later date.

Right now we know that the tower’s amenities will include a wonderful restaurant, that’s going to be led by the skillful chef Joël Robuchon, plus a 60-feet swimming pool, a library, a full-service fitness facility, and special concierge services.

The building’s lobby will be a real treat in itself, featuring a bronze fireplace, fluted Calacatta marble, and a Rachel Feinstein art installation – it might be really hard to go up to your apartment here, right?

Oh, and by the way: residences in the building will start at $2.6 million, which makes our vivid imagination go wild and dream about the wonderful decorations inside. Can you guess how much the Clooneys have spent on their new home in NYC?
