TAG Heuer has just revealed their second edition of Android smartphones, called the TAG Heuer Racer, a luxury cell phone inspired by GT Racing cars which is going to be priced at around €2,800. We don’t have too many details about the phone but what we already know is that the new smartphone will sport the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating system.
The design of the TAG Heuer Racer is truly impressive, with its carbon fiber plate on the back and ruggedized body. These are screwed in with titanium bolts. Take a look at their video-presentation – we noticed an obsession for its weird shapes, with scenes resembling science-fiction films. The phone also boasts a tri-dimensional interface pinned on top of the Android software, with no additional details about it.
Although the prices indicate high-performance, high-tech software and materials, they may as well only reflect added extras. Until July, when the TAG Heuer Racer will be available, we can only sit and wait. Maybe they’ve really done a marvelous phone this time.
