Manufacture Royale 1770 Micromegas Revolution

Featuring a double flying tourbillon, with two different rotation speeds, this stylish timepiece from Manufacture Royale honors a legendary character imagined by the great Voltaire. If you don’t know this yet, Micromegas is the story of a giant called Micromégas and a dwarf from the planet Saturn, who travel the universe seeking knowledge – feel free to read it; it won’t disappoint you!

Just as that incredible story, Manufacture Royale’s 1770 Micromegas Revolution is a groundbreaking timepiece, both technically and visually speaking. Showing off a titanium or 18kt rose gold 45 mm case, this exquisite watch benefits from an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back and can handle aquatic fun for as much as 30 meters deep.

The Swiss automatic Manufacture Royale in-house double flying tourbillon caliber MR08 is what makes everything go ’round, with the automatic winding system mounted on ceramic ball bearings and boasting 40 hours worth of backup; interestingly, the Micro beats at 28,800 vph and the Megas at 21,600 vph.

Please note that the plate and bridges were entirely hand-decorated with ruthenium treatment, while a hand-stitched, black alligator leather strap, with a titanium or 18kt rose gold folding clasp, acts as a finishing touch for this wonderful timepiece. Which version do you prefer?
