Are you accustomed with the common pliable chairs that you take along when feeling the need to commune with nature? In fact, be it just for lounge or picnics, those are compulsory accessories. But have you ever thought about bringing nature inside your home? Adam Krehbiel tended to this by construction the Mangrove Chair v.2.
The chair was reportedly built for “bringing awareness and funding to the planet’s dying mangrove ecosystems.” Thus, all the profit won from the sales will be donated to a few Mangrove Ecosystem Conservation programs, the most successful of them, to be more precise.
These pieces of furniture were penned down by Veraseri Design and were made of recycled materials and Obama election campaign signs materials. To be more specific, they are made of recycled steel pipe, pressed steel leaf and yellow pine and measures 25.5 x 34 x 35.5 inches. The chair comes as just one sole edition, priced at $10,000.
