Prime Superyacht

Well, you won’t see anything about Optimus Prime in the following article, but the superyacht you’re about to drool over is equally cool, if not even better. Several experienced yacht designers and developers have recently joined forces under the New Yachts Company logo to imagine a new platform.

Set to change the way the entire industry thinks about semi-custom superyacht experiences, this new concept is called Prime and it shows off a 50-meter range that allows customers to chore their very own styles and ideas, with Reymond Langton Design and Luiz de Basto, helping them turn their dreams into reality. And if the digital renderings below act as quick hints, there’s definitely more than one reason to get excited.

Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture were responsible for the project’s flexible engineering solutions, such as the yacht’s pipework, electrical and mechanical systems. Prime will also offer generous interior spaces, built entirely from aluminium at Bloemsma Yachts, another Dutch shipyard that will surely impress you with nothing but excellence.

What we have no clue about right now is what kind of money this platform and its customization options will require before actually enjoying a trip over the Seven Seas. There are basically two levels – you can either afford it or not, but feel free to day dream about what you’d like to do and enjoy aboard, and you can think about costs later.
