The beautiful Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver can now be enjoyed in a new form, thanks to a charming limited edition called “Blue Devil”, featuring all the design elements we all know and appreciate, but with a fresh new shade. There are several bold diver’s watches in the brand’s Pontos S Diver collection, but this new edition was apparently inspired by a fish.
The Southern Blue Devil fish lives along the southern coastal areas of Australia and shows off a deep blue skin and a scattering of brighter blue spots on its flanks, as it dwells in and around reefs to a depth of about 40 meters – where diving enthusiasts can ‘visit’ them. You might be able to do that with this beauty attached to your wrist.
But only 100 pieces of the Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver Blue Devil will be ever produced, and they’ll be available only in North America. Costing $2,950, this watch comes with a 43 mm steel case, and it’s able to handle 60atm/ 600m deep waters, so professional divers may apply. It’s also ‘powered’ by the ML115 automatic movement (Sellita SW200 base), backed up by 38 hours of power reserve.
The striking blue devil dial is complemented by chic yellow touches, such as a little yellow ring on the secondary crown, while a matching blue NATO strap, a full steel bracelet or a texturized black rubber strap completes this wonderful sight.
