Armin Strom is a master watchmaker based in the Swiss town of Burgdorf, northwest of Bern. He is renowned for his excellent skeletonized timepieces and while many amazing works have come out of his workshop, the One Week Skeleton Collection is the first to be entirely manufactured in-house.
Every part of the movement that doesn’t have an actual mechanical function is removed, providing a unique insight into the inner workings of the watch. Featuring a 43.4mm rose gold case (with yellow and white gold models also available), decorated with classical hand-engravings, these exquisite pieces come with fully skeletonized main plate, gear-train bridges and barrel bridges.
The Armin Strom One Week Skeleton also comes with a black or brown alligator horn-back strap and 18kt rose gold ardillon buckle, in addition to a black or brown rubber strap, while a double-fold clasp in matching gold is available as an option.
The collection will be released as a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
