Due to be competing in the 2013 and 2014 GT3 racing seasons, the brand new Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 has recently been announced by Lamborghini and Reiter Engineering.
Mainly deriving from the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo, this particular version boasts with a much more efficient braking system, lower fuel consumption and more efficient engine cooling. It also comes dressed in a brand new aerodynamic body kit which encompasses a rear carbon diffuser similar to the one developed for the Super Trofeo and a front splitter. The GT3 version is therefore 25 kg (55 lbs) lighter than the previous model.
The reported price for the Lamborghini GT3 FL2 is around €320,000 plus taxes. Sale-wise, it is expected to arrive in Asia and Europe sometime around March. As for additional purposes, the car is perfect for competing in the Italian GT3 Championship, Blancpain Endurance Series and Asia Le Mans Series.
