Another acclaimed company that’s celebrating its anniversary this year is Swedish camera maker Hasselblad, a company that was founded back in 1941. They’ve decided to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary with the all new H6D Medium Format Camera, that’s already bragging about the highest quality output on the market.

The luxury camera maker has developed the H6D range starting from scratch, with new technical components and an all new electronic platform being part of the product. Modularity is joined by iconic design elements and the same Swedish handmade quality that has made Hasselblad so popular.

The new medium format camera is meant to make the Hasselblad user remember why staying true and loyal to the brand is always worth it.

The H6D range introduces the H6D-100c, with CMOS sensor and an impressive 100MP option, as well as the H6D-50c with a 50MP CMOS sensor. The H6D-100c features 4K video capabilities, as well as a sharp high-definition rear touchscreen LCD, with Wi-Fi connectivity and HDMI.

A wider range of shutter speeds, an increased ISO range and a faster shooting rate are also part of the package and the USB 3.0 Type-C connector will come in handy when transferring all data from this amazing camera. Built-in dual card slots allow enhanced media capability, while the all new platform is capable of handling the largest file throughput with speed and ease.

Hasselblad’s image processing software, Phocus, has been also enhanced for the H6D and it now allows users to apply local adjustments in the image, with a new graphical interface. I’m sure photography professionals and enthusiasts will fall in love with this camera the minute they take the first couple of shots with it.
