Liberty Ace

The Morgan Motor company is well known for their stylish and pretty powerful cars with a retro design but only few people know that the company’s first cars ever where actually three-wheelers, or “trikes”. The early Morgan cars were two seat or four seat three-wheelers, and avoided the British tax on cars by being classified as motorcycles making them really popular.

Now the classic Morgan three-wheeler is scheduled to return this year, in the form of a re-engined Liberty Ace, built in Malvern with a modern version of the original Morgan’s JAP engine. The Liberty Ace is basically a Morgan original design made under license in Seattle since 2009 and the new trikes are already in production at Morgan’s Malvern Factory.

The new three-wheeler will get a 1,000 cc (or more) engine which will be able to produce around 90 HP and it will cost 46,000 GBP. This revival of the Morgan trikes seems more than interesting and probably a lot of people would love to own a unique car like the Liberty Ace.
