Christophe Claret X-TREM-1 StingHD

Christophe Claret’s newest timepiece, a ravishing contraption dubbed as the X-TREM-1 StingHD, could be easily described by some people as sorcery. Technically impressive and showing off an outrageous look, this spectacular watch benefits from the expertise of StingHD, a New York-based jewelry and accessories company, and of course, the innovative team at Christophe Claret was in charge of all the hard work.

The overall aesthetics of the watch are to die for, which might explain the hidden skull motif. In terms of specs, the Christophe Claret X-TREM-1 StingHD features a 40.8 mm PVD-treated Grade 5 titanium case, with various red touches complementing the dark vibe, supported by the stainless steel rings and PVD-treated metal spheres inside the sapphire tubes.

Matching this wonderful case is a black stingray strap with red stitching, plus a personalized strap that would meet the future owner’s desires. But apart from these two straps, you will also get a complimentary handcrafted bracelet with a black diamond encrusted skull with ruby eyes. That sounds awesome, right?

Keeping everything in motion is Christophe Claret’s complex FLY11 caliber, featuring 432 components and two barrels, and backed up by 50 hours of power. And now the sad part: the X-TREM-1 StingHD will be produced in a super limited run of just 8 pieces, unfortunately exclusivity and overwhelming aesthetics come with a price: 278,000 CHF, in this case!

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
