Blancpain Ladybird Watch

The brilliant watchmakers from Blancpain have designed a limited edition of their beautiful Ladybird watch, just in time to surprise your significant other for Valentine’s Day. The iconic model in Blancpain’s Women collection has been around ever since 1956, and at some point in time, the Ladybird was world’s smallest round watch.

Blancpain has re-imagined this iconic timepiece with a mother-of-pearl dial, adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, while a mother-of-pearl marquetry heart, sparkling with diamonds and rubies, are sure to make any girl or lady smile.

The new Blancpain Ladybird comes with a 21.5 mm white gold case, lit up by a bezel that’s set with more than 0.5 carats worth of diamonds, while in the background, a 15.7 mm-diameter self-winding 6150 movement – one of the smallest in the world  – gets things moving.

A removable white gold charm with a ruby heart and a diamond arrow, representing a heart pierced by an arrow, enhances the watch at 6 o’clock. The Ladybird is beautifully complemented by an engraved calfskin strap and on the back you could see the number from the limited edition series, that will include only 99 pieces.

That means only 99 ladies will be lucky enough to call this gorgeous watch theirs.
