Working at MV Agusta must be really fun, considering the renowned Italian bike maker comes up with new outrageous projects pretty often. Apart from the incredible MV Agusta F4Z, a superb one-off motorcycle designed in collaboration with Zagato, the Italians have also unveiled the 2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR at the 2016 EICMA bike show in Milan.

Based on the company’s best-selling motorcycle, the MV Agusta Brutale, this thing is a stripped-down version of the original, which benefits from even more power to make sure it can literally take your breath away.

The RR was developed to deliver nothing but high speed thrills, with 140 hp on tap working alongside 63 ft pounds of torque, thanks to MV Agusta’s 2 injectors per cylinder. We’re not sure we like the new sound-reducing cylinder-head, since the soundtrack is probably half of the charm of any motorcycle, but we’d sure love to take this beauty out for a spin.

Capable of reaching maximum speeds of up to 153 mph or 246 km/h, this bike also brags about a reworked suspension system, lightweight wheels, a vibration-reducing harmonic dampener, an improved gearbox, as well as an up & down quick shifter that will come in handy when you’re trying to break speed records – $14,051 seems like a small price to pay for that experience.
