Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster

This breathtaking Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster is the latest bespoke project designed by ‘Q by Aston Martin’, a tailor-made ride built over the course of nine months. Specifically designed for a lucky customer, this is Aston Martin’s most extreme open-top vehicle, powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12, developing 600 PS (591 HP), that’s backed up by a track-oriented chassis setup.

This one-off roadster is obviously based on the Vantage GT12 Coupe, but it features plenty of interesting upgrades, like a special paint and trim, magnesium inlet manifolds with revised geometry, a lightweight magnesium torque tube and a full titanium exhaust system, new carbon fiber body panels and also a brand new suspension set-up developed in-house.

That means this Vantage GT12 Roadster is perfect for a quick spin around the track but why is this roadster so important? Well, if one picky customer has been able to ask the ‘Q by Aston Martin’ bespoke commission service to work its magic and deliver a personalized vehicle for him, we’re sure more people could do it. Now that the flood gates have opened, things are bound to get interesting.

Even Aston Martin’s president & CEO Dr Andy Palmer has admitted that this supercar represents a very exciting project for the British automaker, and judging by the overall awesomeness of the vehicle, we tend to agree with him.
