Car tuners from Italy are usually busy refining Italian supercars but Romeo Ferraris wanted to release a special upgrade package for one of America’s best supercars, the Corvette Z06. The Corvette Z06 by Romeo Ferraris is basically a supercharged version that takes this car’s performances to a completely new level.
The carbon fiber body is powered by the standard engine but the Italian tuners fitted a centrifugal supercharger and also made many other upgrades under the hood to squeeze a lot more power from the car’s engine. The result? They managed to bring the power output to an amazing 667 horsepower and 609 lb-ft of torque.
After these upgrades were made, the supercharged Corvette Z06 is almost faster than the powerful Corvette Z01. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds and it could reach a breathtaking top speed of 355.66 km/h or 221 mph.
So, if you already own a Corvette Z06 and want to turn it into one of the fastest cars on the road, Romeo Ferraris might help you with this. Funny thing, the company’s name is Ferraris, it’s from Italy and they refine an American supercar to be a lot faster than almost any Ferrari.
