Though it doesn’t boast quite such a high profile as the likes of New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago, Boston is nevertheless a prominent U.S. city. It has to be, if someone is willing to pay $37.5 million for a penthouse there!

The 13,000-square-foot apartment is located on the 60th floor of the Millennium Tower, a luxurious residential sky-scraper located in Downtown Crossing and set to be completed by 2016. Soaring 685 feet above the Boston skyline, it is set to become the tallest residential building in the city.

Just as all the other apartments which are part of the Millennium Tower, this penthouse comes with kitchen concepts by Poggenpohl, wide-plank hardwood flooring in the foyer, and is pre-wired for state-of-the-art communication systems. The penthouse is, however, unfurnished, so its new owners have the freedom to fill the interior areas in whichever way they see fit. Living in this building has its own perks, like access to a private restaurant run by award-winning restaurateur and chef, Michael Mina, and a 10,000-square-foot gym and fitness concept called FLX by Millennium.
