The luxury handset market hasn’t been a dynamic environment, so to speak. Dominated by the likes of Vertu, this market has also seen big names like Porsche Design and Tag Heuer trying out their skills to come up with your next favorite luxury device.

But now there’s a new player in town, an Israeli start up aiming to make a difference with a high end smartphone. Called Sirin Labs, the company has recently launched Solarin, a gorgeous Android-based luxury handset, described by its developers as the ‘Rolls Royce of Smartphones’.

The $14,000 smartphone brags about an impressive 24 megapixel camera, with laser auto focus, 5.5 inch 2K IPS display, and a special finger print sensor for that extra security you might need.

A powerful 8-core Qualcomm processor, complemented by 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 4000 mAh battery, is working hard to keep your needs fully satisfied. The device is also completely waterproof, benefiting from a case of your choice, specifically Fibre Black Carbon Titanium, Fibre Black Carbon DLC, Fibre Black Carbon Yellow Gold and Crystal White Carbon DLC.

Sirin Labs is focusing on security rather than bling on these bespoke smartphones, aiming to develop the most advanced privacy technology civilians are allowed to use. We should mention protection from network host based attacks, email encryption and chip level 256 bit end to end VoIP call encryption among Solarin’s unique features.

Please note this exceptional device is already available online or at the company’s newly opened boutique, in the heart of London.
