American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is looking to sell his jaw dropping Beverly Hills estate, with the 90210 property set to sell for $85 million. Interestingly enough, the 45-year-old celebrity has purchased the secluded L.A. home eight years ago from another TV legend, Ellen DeGeneres, for about $36.5 million. Can anyone spot the difference?
The property has skyrocketed in value, due to the area in question and a boom in trophy estates. The fact that Seacrest is known worldwide and he also did a little remodeling and tricked out the property with a few more luxury amenities might also have something to do with the increase in value.
Located just across the street from Franklin Canyon Reservoir, this epic three-acre Beverly Hills compound offers manicured lawns and spectacular ocean views.
At the center, a lavish 9,000-square-foot home, that was originally built by the noted architects Buff & Hensman, stands proud and teases mere mortals.
Showing off incredible levels of quality and craftsmanship, this place features exposed beams, luxurious chandeliers, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.
The layout of the home includes four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a living room, a formal dining room, and an open-plan kitchen that the future owners will most likely enjoy.
Did we mention the massage room and the lovely home cinema?
Sure, if there is a need for such things, an office and library are also present and the lounge, wet bar, or the sunroom, with a pizza oven and grill, could be even more appreciated by the future owners.
This is A-List material, hence the ridiculous price-tag. The next owners will also get to enjoy a generous pool, a separate fitness facility, as well as a secure underground garage for those expensive they love so much.
The alfresco dining areas make for great socializing areas, especially these days when staying home became the norm. You should be careful though who you invite over.
Speaking of which, two sizable guesthouses and a pool house offer three more bedrooms and four bathrooms if you’d like to invite your friends over.
But you probably don’t need to worry about that, since you can’t afford this outrageous home, anyway. So, smile and wave to Santa Claus!
