Richard Mille is once again dazzling watch enthusiasts all over the world with the RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur.
This exquisite timepiece features the stunning tonneau-shaped case Richard Mille’s creations are known for. A marvelous piece of engineering in and of itself, the case takes a great amount of time and skill to manufacture and incorporates such high-end materials as grade 5 titanium and 316L stainless steel.
Movement is a manual winding tourbillon with hours, minutes and automaton mechanism, with a power reserve of about 36 hours. One of the highlights of the piece is, of course, the flying tourbillion, so-called because its cage is assembled without an upper bridge, which creates the impression of weightlessness and also offers perfect visibility, always a desirable trait in such a stunning watch.
The other really interesting feature is the automaton mechanism. Located at 7 o’clock, it depicts a magnolia with its 18-carat gold petals opening every five minutes, allowing the flying tourbillion to rise slightly so you can get an even better look at it. Pressing the pusher at 9 o’clock also has the same effect.
The RM 19-02 Tourbillon Fleur was released as a limited edition of just 30 stunning timepieces.
