Besides the Parmigiani Fleurier calibre PF920m it is powered by, the 15-Day Table Clock boasts with a constant force escapement, a high density wheel, guided by the main spring, mounted on the pinion of the escapement axis. Intriguingly, the escapement wheels is free. Going further, the two parts, the escapement wheel and the pinion, are connected by a spiral able to drive the escapement wheel more consistently, thanks to the wheel’s inertia.
Going towards the front side of the timepiece, the central black dial displays the hours and minutes , while a smaller dial tends to the seconds. Fully observable, the power reserve is majestically displayed as well, accompanied by a brand new patented mechanism.
The case of the clock weighs a staggeringly low 1 kg. Plated with rhodium, in order to prevent any oxidation processes, it’s crafted from solid silver and measures 142 x 96 x 80 mm. The keys needed for winding and time-adjusting are found within a secret drawer. Isn’t this piece just amazing?
