Celebrating 50 years of James Bond movies, Omega are releasing an special edition of the Seamaster Diver 300m James Bond watch. This popular watch has been worn by the 007 agent in every movie starting Golden Eye.
The timepiece is coming in two sizes, with particular features for both of them. The first type is a 41 mm version, produced in a limited edition of 11,007 pieces, while the second is sized at 36.25 mm, coming in 3,007 pieces. The smaller model boasts a diamond index at 7 o’clock.
The series of watches features Omega’s caliber 2507 self-winding movement with co-axial COSC, blue-emission white-Super-LumiNova-coated indexes, small date window at 3 o’clock, 007-monogram-festooned lacquered black dial and stainless steel cases. To be noted as well – the unidirectional-rotating ceramic bezel with diving scales in matt chromium nitride, decorated with the red-colored 50 number to remind the purpose of the edition.
The case back is screwed-in the case, being emblazoned with a gun-barrel design. The rotor has a bullet-like decoration that can be viewed through a central sapphire crystal coated with an anti-reflective substance on the inside. Furthermore, a feature for professional divers that operate from diving bells is the helium-escape valve that allows helium to escape during decompression.
Until the release of EON Productions’ “Skyfall”, the 23 movie in the renowned series, we let you bask in the pictures. Who knows? Maybe you decide to be a 007 agent yourself and buy a piece.
